Funeral Service Held Sunday For Mrs. Geo. Willison.
Funeral service was held Sunday for Mrs. George Willison, 78, who died Friday morning here. The funeral was held at the Carson-Balster Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m., the Rev. H.D.Green of the First Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in the East Iron Hill Cemetery.
The former Nettie Bowling was born April 30, 1867, in Iron Hill, the daughter of Franklin and Sarah English Bowling. On February 7, 1887, she was married in Iron Hill to George Willison, who preceded her in death. Recently she had been making her home at 404 North Decker Street, where she died.
Surviving are two sons, Arthur of Iron Hill, and Howard, of Onslow; and one daughter, Edith Willison of Maquoketa; and one sister, Miss Martha Bowling of Iron Hill. She also leaves six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
