Obituary.
Macumber: Thursday morning last, at 3:16, George William Macumber of this city was mustered out and went to join the boys in blue who have gone before. He leaves a wife and two children, Wm. of West Branch, Iowa, and Mrs. C.C. Woolaver of Dundee, Illinois, to mourn. The funeral occurred Sunday from the house with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery. He was born in Bergen, New York, Feb. 3, 1846, where he grew to manhood on a farm. He enlisted in the Army in 1863 and served two years making a good soldier. He moved to Wisconsin in 1856, where he wed Sarah E. Myatt, who has shared his joys and sorrows, his fortunes and misfotrunes through life.
