AGED DELMAR MAN DEAD
James Watters, aged 80 years, passed away Wednesday morning at his home on Center street in Delmar after an illness of only a few days.
Mr. Watters and his faithful wife came to Delmar from Canada, when that hustling town was still in its infancy, and kept a boarding house for the men who were building the first railroad throught Delmar. They continued to reside there and watched with keen interest the steady growth of the town and the prosperity of the surrounding country.
Besides his aged wife he is survived by his two daughters, Mrs. Albert Whaley and Miss Margaret, both of Delmar.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been made, but it will probably be held Friday morning at St. Patrick's church.
DEATH DATE: Most likely Dec 2, 1925
