CLINTON — Lois E. Schnack, 82, of Clinton, died Thursday at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.

Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff, Steve and Stuart Mohr, Michael Boehde, Joel Kaczinski and Steve Guidebeck.

She was born July 30, 1924, near Preston to Albert and Kathryn Ketelsen Mohr. She married Raymond C. Schnack on Oct. 16, 1945, in Preston. He died in 1974.

She graduated from Preston High School in 1941.

She was a homemaker and waitress, receptionist, U.S. Postal Service employee and secretary. She retired as secretary from St. Paul Lutheran Church in 1991.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the women’s group and mature youth. She was a member of the Kirkwood P.T.A. and card clubs.

Survivors include three daughters, Ellen (Arthur) Zschiegner of Fort Wayne, Ind., Karen (Lynn) Daniels of Miles and Elizabeth Mink of Clinton; five sons, Robert (DeeAnn) Schnack of Dyersville, Ray (Esther Eich) Schnack of Rockford, Ill., Richard (Mary) Schnack of Eldridge, John (Darlene) Schnack of Jefferson City, Mo., and Paul (Lynn) Schnack of DeWitt; 16 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister, Kathleen (Carl) Boehde of Clinton; one brother, Loran (Thelma) Mohr of Ames; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Mohr of Cedar Rapids; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, American Heart Association, Diabetes Association or Leukemia Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter and one brother.
