At St. Patrick’s Church, Garry Owen, Tuesday morning, April 30th, occurred the ceremony that united John Kingsley, of Dubuque, and Miss Josie Crowley, of Bernard, in the holy bonds of matrimony. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Crowley, parents of the bride, where several guests had assembled to enjoy the festivities of the occasion. The happy couple are most worthy people. The bride being the amiable and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Rowley and has all the qualities to make a happy home. The groom is connected with a large wholesale establishment in Dubuque, and is a very enterprising young man. They were the recipients of many valuable and useful presents. The young couple will settle down to the realities of married life in Dubuque, with the earnest and hearty congratulations of their many friends.
