Miss Laura A. BELL of Maquoketa, Ia., became the bride of Mr. Charles MCDONALD of Davenport at 11 o'clock Saturday, the ceremony being performed by Dr. Frank COURT at the parsonage of th St. John's Methodist church. Mrs. Harry BARNES of Milan, a sister of the groom, was the only attendant. The bridal couple will reside in Davenport. Mr. MCDONALD is employed as a harness-maker.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.P. BELL of this city and has practiced nursing for the past few years.

Mr. MCDONALD is a Maquoketa boy, the son of Mrs. L. B. MCDONALD.
