Dubuque Times-Journal, December 2, 1906

Mr. William Dempewolf and Miss Theresa Freese were united in marriage at St. Joseph's church Tuesday morning at 7 o'clock by Rev. Father Bies. The attendants were Mr. Joe Dempewolf and Miss Frances Freese. The bride looked handsome in a costume of cream lawnsdon with silk applique and carried a boquet of of pink and whites roses, while the bridegroom wore white. After the ceremony the bridal couple held a reception at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Freese, where an elaborate dinner was served and the event otherwise fittingly celebrated.
