The Will of Father P. J. Clabby-

The will of the late Father Clabby has been opened and read. Father Clabby was the priest at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Otter Creek for the past eighteen years. He died April 30, 1900 and his funeral was May 4, 1900. Father Clabby's remains lie buried in St. Lawrence's Cemetery.

He leaves $7,000 to St. Charles College, Baltimore, Maryland, so long as it remains a Catholic institution, the money to be held in trust and the interest "to be used for having masses said for the poor souls in purgatory." $7,000 also went to St. Bonaventure College, Cataragus Co., N.Y., under the same conditions and for the same purposes. He leaves to his brother, Thomas, all his land in Delaware and Buchanan Counties and to his sister all his property in Providence, R. I. Lena Wirtz is to have the interest on $2,000 during her lifetime. To each of four priests he leaves $2150 for saying masses for his soul. They are Rev. Fathers James Kelley, David Lonergan, L. Roach and P. J. McNamara. The balance of his estate to be divided between his brother and sister.
