SOLDIERS BODIES RETURNED FROM EUROPE

Announcement was made today of the arrival in New York of the remains of two more World War II veterans from Jackson County along with 122 others.

Arriving aboard the U.S.S. Carroll Victory from temporary military cemeteries from France and Holland were PFC Kermit C. Bowling of Maquoketa and Lt. Wayne S. Marvin of Preston. PFC Bowling is being returned by request of his next of kin, Guy E. Bowling, his father and Lt. Marvin by request of his father.
