Francis Sokoll to Chaloubka John Deed
Know all men by these presents, that Francis Sokoll and Josfa Sokoll his wife of Jackson County, State of Iowa, in consideration of the sum of two hundred eighty dollars in hand paid by John Chaloubka of Jackson County, State of Iowa, do here by sell and convey into the said John Chaloubka, the following premises to work: fifteen acres on the North side of the South West fourth and fifteen acres on the North side of the South East fourth of the South West fourth and in Section seven (7) and also thirty acres on the East side of the North east fourth South West quarter of the Section seven (7) all in township eightyfour (84) North of Range one (1) East of fifth principal meridian containing sixty acres more or less and we do hereby covenant with the said John Chaloubka that we are lawfully seized of said premises that they one free from incumbrance that we have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same. And we do hearby covenant to warrant and defend the said premises against the lasful claims of all persons whomsoever. And the said Josfa hearby relinquushes her right of dower to the premesis here in before conveyed. Signed this 31st day of January AD. Eighteen hundred and fifty six. In presence of Francis Sokoll Josfa Sokoll State of Iowa Jackson County On this 31 day of January A. D. 1856 before me Joseph Rosenbargen Justice of the peace in ano for said county personally came Francis Sokoll and Josfa his wife to me known to be the identified persons whose names are affixed to the above deed as grantors and acknowledged the same to be their voluntary actual deed.
