The Preston Independent says of a Good Templars' convention recently held there: Mr. L. L. Roberts of Clinton, was present and addressed the people in his characteristic way to the pleasure of old and young. He is now 78 years old and has been a Good Templar for more than 45 years.. This is a strong argument for the older people becoming Good Templars.
