Stabbing in Preston

A special from Preston to the Clinton Herald says that during a drunken spree, Will McKinney and Bob Wheelden, two local toughs, got into a fight and Wheelden plunged a knife into McKinney’s left lung, inflicting a dangerous wound. Wheelden was arrested and bound over under bond to appear before the grand jury.
