SAD ACCIDENT-

On Saturday last, as Esq. Perham’s little Son, and also Mr. John E. Goodenow were handling a pistol, it went off, shooting the thumb of the left hand of Archie Perham, mutilating it so that amputation was necessary. Dr. Allen was called in and performed the operation in less than two minutes. When will parents learn not to trust their children with such dangerous weapons. How sad! A cripple for life.
