MARRIED WOMEN NOT ALLOWED TO TEACH IN BELLEVUE
Bellevue- (Special)
The Board of Education at a meeting Monday, re-elected all the teachers except Mrs. L. E. Kucheman, as married women are not eligible. Those re-elected were: Misses Gail Patterson, Frances Bartley, Henrietta Schell, H. W. Anderson, and L. W. Henney, high school; Miss Anna O’Connor, seventh and eighth grade; Miss Mary Swirtz, fourth grade;; Miss Hazel Hannah, third grade and high school music; Miss Emma Lenz, second grade; and Miss Elizabeth Wirth, first grade. O. C. Sutherland was re-elected superintendent at a previou meeting.
