FREAK OF NATURE-
The Maquoketa Sentinel of last Tuesday, says: A few days since Mrs. Otto, a German lady, who resides ten miles west of Maquoketa, gave birth to two female children, perfect in all respects, and whose bodies are firmly united together from the base of the abdomen to the upper part of the sternum, or breast bone. They lived but a few moments after their birth and weighed 13 lbs.
They were purchased by Dr. Willberger, who attended the lady; And the Dr. brought them to the Photographic Art Gallery of Mr. A. D. White and Mrs. F. Snyder and had a negative of them taken, and photographs will be printed in a few days so as to accommodate all who may desire them. The Dr. has secured a copyright on the pictures, so that they can only be purchased from the Dr. or his agents.
