Jackson Sentinel, January 7, 1886

MARRIED

TROUT-WILBUR
By Rev. S. F. Millikan, 5:45 a.m., Tuesday, January 5th, 1886, at the residence of Thomas Wilbur, George W. Trout and Grace Wilbur, of Maquoketa.
The wedding was a quiet affair, only the near relatives being present. The ceremony was performed at an early hour to enable the happy couple to take the morning passenger train east for a wedding tour. They return in the course of a few days, and will at once begin housekeeping in an already furnished suite of rooms over Mr. Trout’s hardware store. The groom is well known as one of our most prosperous and energetic young business men, the eldest son of Mr. Thomas Trout, whom he succeeds in the hardware trade. The bride is accomplished and handsome daughter of Thomas Wilbur, Esq. and her kind and cheerful disposition and mature judgment, will make her queen of the household. The Sentinel wishes them happiness and abundant prosperity.
