Conveys “The right to back upon and permanently overflow so much of the land owned by us in the SE 1/4, NE 1/4, Section 22, Township 84 North, Range 2, East of the 5th Principal Meridian, Jackson County, Iowa, as will be overflowed by the waters of the Maquoketa River on account of the construction, maintenance and operation of a dam across the South Fork of the Maquoketa River. The concrete crest of the dam to be at an elevation of 70.05 feet above Maquoketa City datum as established by Ordinance No. 238 recorded in Book 2, Pages 95 to 101 inclusive, of the Ordinance Records of the City of Maquoketa, Iowa.”
