KECK LAW FIRM-THREE GENERATIONS

Allan L. Keck has re-opened his office at 116 South Second Street, Maquoketa, for the general practice of law, it was announced today.
Mr. Keck has been released to inactive duty as a lieutenant in the U. S. Navy, after four years of active duty. He graduated from the law school, University of Iowa, in 1941, and was admitted to the bar the same year.
As a member of his father’s law firm, he was engaged in his profession until he entered the naval service.. Firm activities were temporarily suspended in 1943, when Judge W. L. Keck assumed duties as judge of the district court.
The re-opening of this office carries the business into the third generation and the 83rd year. It was originally established in 1863 by Mr. Keck’s grandfather, who was succeeded by Judge W. L. Keck and Frank H. Keck.
