STILL SEIZED AT SPRINGBROOK
Deputy Marshal George C. Heberling has been making a raid on Jackson county, as will be seen by the following from the Dubuque Herald:
Deputy Marshal George C. Heberling seized a copper still at Springbrook, Jackson county, on Thursday, which had formerly used in manufacturing “Crooked.” The tubs and whole apparatus complete were there in possession of a man who had purchased them, but the party that had used them had, as Mrs. Partington says, “taken time by the firelock” and fled.
