WILLIAM Y. EARLE

Cheering Voice from our Northern Neighbors

The Dubuque Express and Herald, in speaking of the Democratic Convention and of the unterrified Democracy of old Jackson, says of the Democratic nominee for School Fund Commissioner:

“With the nominee of the convention, WILLIAM Y. EARLE, of Maquoketa, we are personally acquainted, and a more honorable man and a sounder Democrat cannot be found. He is competent and his antecedents prove that he will be honest and faithful. But the Democracy of Jackson county will remember that in the election of Mr. Earle, is the triumph of political justice, virtue and liberality over the combined powers of political prescription and religious bigotry.

Citizens! Will you longer hesitate to vote for

WILLIAM Y. EARLE
