Samuel S. Draper vs. Mary E. Draper

Petition for Divorce

Notice is hereby given to the said Mary E. Draper, that on the 17th day of August, A. D. 1840, Samuel S. Draper, the complainant, filed his petition in the office of the clerk of the District Court for the county of Jackson, for a divorce from the bonds of matrimony existing between the said Samuel S. Draper and the said Mary E. Draper, and that the petition will be heard at the next term of the said court, to be holden at Bellview, in and for said county, on the third Monday in October, A. D. 1840, and unless you attend and defend the same, a decree pro confesso will be asked for.
