MARRIED

CURRENT-BODKIN. Fortis Current and Jessie L. Bodkin drove up to the Reformed parsonage on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 3 p. m. and were quietly married, Rev. D. F. Boomershine performing the ceremony. The charming bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bodkin of near Maquoketa, and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wellington Current of this city and is an industrious young man, who is well able to provide a home for the bride he has wooed and won. For the present they will be at the home of the groom’s parents. All their many friends join in wishing them a long, prosperous and happy life.
