John Francis, Commissioner of Jackson County, Iowa, Territory in Trust for said County, under provisions of an Act of Congress, approved on the 26th day of May, 1824

Dated January 17, 1846, filed in Book 74, Page 169, Office of the Recorder of Jackson County, Iowa.

Conveys land in Perry Township later owned by Ansel Briggs, first governor of Iowa, from 1846-50.
