Maquoketa Record, October 3, 1906:
Yesterday morning at the Church of the Assumption, took place the marriage of Miss Nellie Marie Feeney and Mr. T.Francis Slattery. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Burke. A reception was given at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Feeney, where a large assemblage of relatives was served to a delicious four course menu. LaMotte News, Sept. 26, 1906.
