MAQUOKETA GIRL WEDS AT DIXON, ILLINOIS
At the Lutheran church parsonage in Dixon, Ill., Saturday, Sept. 12, occurred the marriage of Miss Amanda Nissen of this city and Gale Spaulding of Dixon.
The bride is a graduate of the Maquoketa high school with the class of 1917 and has been the efficient bookkeeper in the office of the Iowa Electric company for the past six years. She has made many friends who extend their best wishes.
Mr. Spaulding also has many friends in this city, having been agent for the Studebaker care here some time ago and is now manager of a department store in Dixon, Ill., where they will make their home.
