County Medical Society Meets.
Adopt Resolution Honoring Dr. Ryan.
Meeting recently the Jackson County Medical Society elected Dr. John Tilton as secretary-treasurer to succeed the late George C. Ryan, and adopted the following resolution:
"WHEREAS, George Chester Ryan in the prime of life has passed to his eternal reward, and
WHEREAS, The members of the Jackson County Medical Society honor his memory for his sterling qualities, his integrity and devotion to the sick and suffering in all walks of life, and
WHEREAS, We pay honor to him as a Christian gentlemen. He gave to his patients the best of his medical knowledge and skill - physician, counselor and friend to all who sought his services, a true family physician that carried hope and comfort to many homes,
In the death of George Chester Ryan the society suffers a distinct loss; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That we extend to the family of George Chester Ryan, our deepest sympathy and that their loss is our loss.
That in future meetings of our society that we shall miss the presence and counsel of George Chester Ryan whose whole life was devoted to his profession and who throughout his lifetime endeavored to make this world a better place to live in. Jackson County Medical Society."
