GERTRUDE DUNTON AND RAYMOND DERGANZ WED IN DAVENPORT

Before a flower decked altar in Sacred Heart cathedral in Davenport at 9:00 o'clock
Wednesday, June 26, wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Gertrude Dunton, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. William Dunton, of Davenport, and Raymond Derganz, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Anton Derganz, of Maquoketa. The Rev. Greer officiated at the single ring ceremony while nuptial music was being played.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was beautifully gowned in white marquisette
and carried an arm bouquet of American Beauty roses. She was attended by the bridegrooms's sister, Margaret, who wore a pink chiffon gown and carried a bouquet of white roses. Emil Lasack, a friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Albert Derganz served as an usher.
Following the ceremony a family dinner and reception was held at the bride's parents,
after which they left on a brief wedding trip. They have purchased their new home in
LeClair, Iowa.
