POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT

Among the good men aspiring to office upon the Republican ticket this fall, none stand higher than Henry E. Strain, the choice of Republicans for County Recorder. For many years Mr. Strain had been engaged in mercantile pursuits at Andrew in Perry Township, but two years ago his strenuous labor caused a physical disability and he ceased active labor. Rest has bettered his condition and he is again capable of applying his business abilities to the activities of life. His friends thought that Henry would make a model county official and submitted his claims and merits to the Republicans at the primary. They were glad to honor him and he was named as candidate for County Recorder.

The most important question is yet to be decided and Mr. Strain asks a careful consideration of his claims and merits by all of his friends, regardless of party affiliation. If elected he promises to serve the people faithfully until the end of his term and if re-elected to gracefully retire at the end of his second term, being a firm believer in the potency and justice of the third term rule.
