POLITICAL ADVERTISEMENT

For County Superintendent of Schools, we wish again to call your attention to Professor E. R. Stoddard of the Monmouth Schools, a most capable, thoroughly well known and perfectly reliable citizen and scholar. We do not think it possible to defeat Prof. Stoddard and it would be a calamity to our schools if the Bellevue joke should be placed in command of the educational work of Jackson county, an entirely unknown quantity. Voters without regard to party be careful and see that you put the cross in the square opposite E. R. Stoddard's name on the Democratic ticket.
