Anker Kleis Leaves For Denmark

Anker Kleis left Wednesday morning enroute to Denmark to visit his parents. He expects to be gone ten weeks, returning about October 1.

Mr. Kleis will go to New York City and sail from there Saturday morning at 10:00 o'clock on the United States Danish-American line for Copenhagen, Denmark. From there he will go to his hometown, Samse, Denmark, where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andreas Kleis reside. He will also visit his three sisters, who reside at Aaarhus, Hjerring and Skanderborg, respectively.

Mr. Kleis came to America in 1909 and though he served in France during the World War in 1918-1919, he did not get to Denmark so he has not visited his home since.
