NORRIS BROWN

Norris Brown of Kearney, Nebraska, was born May 2, 1863. at Maquoketa, Iowa, and graduated at the age of 20 years from the Iowa State university, having accomplished the classical course. In October, 1883, he was admitted to the bar, after having read law with Reed & McDuffie. He began practice at Perry, Iowa, in November 1883, when he removed to Kearney, Nebraska, and has made that place his home since that time. He became a member of Brown & Brown after locating in Kearney and so continued until 1893, when the firm was dissolved and Mr. Brown is now alone. Mr. Brown was elected County Attorney in the fall of 1892, and served in that office four years. During that time he had but four acquittals in the cases prosecuted by him. Mr. Brown has a large general practice and devotes attention to all lines of the law.
(Norris Brown served as United States Senator from Nebraska from 1907-1913.)
