Sabula Gazette-
John Stanek, a veteran of the 168th Infantry, who saw fighting on several fronts and was gassed in the Argonne Forest drive, visited here over Sunday at the home of P. E. Kempter. Stanek is one of the Company D boys who spent the summer of 1917 in camp here and after being sent to France became a member of the famous Rainbow Division. He was sent home February 1st on account of the effects of the Hun gas, but is now nearly recovered from that trouble.
