JAMES G. TRACY, farmer, Sec. 26; P.O. Iron Hills; was born in Brandon Township, Jackson Co., Iowa; is the son of Basil and Fanny Tracy, pioneer settlers of the same township; he was born May 17, 1852. In July, 1875, he married, at Iron Hills, Jackson Co., Iowa, Miss P. Green; they have two children, Lily Bell and Addie Celestine. Mr. Tracy is a Democrat; he is extensively engaged in farming and is a man of much energy. - 1879 History of Jackson County Iowa, pg. 763.
