Hon. J. W. Miles was very much surprised this week to receive an official document from Gov. Frank Jackson informing him of his appointment as delegate to attend the National Farmers and Pan-American Congress to be held at Atlanta, Georgia, October 10th to 16th, 1895. This high compliment was unsought and unexpected, but Mr. Miles appreciates it, and will attend, accompanied by his wife, daughter and son.
