Our friends in the country will please bear in mind that Mr. Lorenzo Spaulding of Maquoketa has been appointed deputy County Surveyor. All business entrusted to him will meet with prompt attention. We are gratified to learn of the appointment, as Mr. Spaulding is a careful and correct surveyor, and we have no hesitancy in saying that all lines run by him will be accurate and will stand the test of all successors.
