KNOW-NOTHING JUDGE
A Veritable Know-Nothing-
D.F. Spurr, the Know-Nothing Judge of this county, has fully demonstrated that he is a member of the original order, by the supplies of liquor furnished Mr. A. Fellows, who was an agent at that time for this part of the county. It appears that the wines were no sooner received than they (like unto the Know-Nothing party) commenced fusing at an awful rate, while the brandies were of a very inferior grade. The Judge bears the reputation of possessing the requisite knowledge necessary for the purchase of a good and pure article; but we presume like the lost gold at Dubuque, other packages must have been substituted! We learn that Mr. Fellows has resigned, and that Mr. H. Stewart has been appointed.
