Dr. A. B. Dobson

Along in the early days of last November, Mrs. M. J. Lahey, of LeMars, a former resident of Cascade, wrote to Owen McCaffrey of this city, enquiring for the address of that famous Spiritualist Doctor, of Maquoketa, whom she had heard so much about. Mac says he answered the lady with whom he had been long acquainted, and gave her Dr. Dobson’s address. He says she is a woman of no faith in Spiritualism, in fact a Catholic. Time passed on and Mac was the recipient of another letter postmarked LeMars. On opening and reading it he found it was from Mrs. Lahey who was profuse in her thanks to him for his kindness in giving her the address of Dr. Dobson and said that medicine procured from him had done a great deal of good. Mac says he is no believer in Spiritualism himself, but he thinks Dr. Dobson entitled to the credit given to him and would produce the letter for publication had he not carelessly mislaid it.
