Jackson Sentinel, February 7, 1885.

Spring Brook biographies.

JOHN HANAPEL, the founder of the Hanapel & Co. Plow Factory, which located here about 1881, is an honest straight forward businessman, and somewhat of an inventive genius, as he now holds patents of several good inventions, gotten by his own ingenuity.
Mr. Hanapel is also proprietor of the Spring Brook Wagon factory and blacksmith shops-is the maker of the “Famous Spring Brook Wagon” in this country. John is also our village squire, a stock holder and officer of the Bellevue-Spring Brook Telephone Co.
