Funny, I was googling Alsonnett Hotels. My mother was the bookkeeper at the Torrey Pines Inn in the late 1970's. They leased the hotel. This company had I think 20 - 40 hotels, I know of one other the Hotel Grimm in Texarkana, Tex. or Ark and the Jack London Inn in Oakland, California. And yes, I do distinctly remember the two lions on their trademark. I do not know if they are in business. I think some of their properties at that time were probably a little on the distressed side but quaint. Funny, my mother got her job after the previous bookkeeper embezzled money, I am a law student and I was asking her about bookkeeper's and an embezzlement case I was asked advise on.
