Years ago I was dating a girl who took me to an old orphanage cemetery from the late 1800s near Conroy in Iowa County. The cemetery was on her grandfather's farmland off of a private road, and fenced in so the ground around it could be farmed. It appeared by many of the dates that there had been some type of outbreak in the orphanage that caused many of the kids to die young and within months if not days of one another, thus facilitating a need for a cemetery on the premises. Email me back and I will tell you the farmer's name that owned the property ten years ago.
