he was my grandfather . l met him once .were a 'looseknit'family. but according to family legend he was a 33rd degree mason, sold his 'lower forty' [actually a mile stretch of land ] to ALCOA in the early 50's and was in the Iowa whose who as one of the richest men in Iowa,oh yeah and he could chop a tree down with one swing of his mighty ax,l made that part up.
