Some of the information you are seeking may only be found in the genealogy section of the Library of Congress.

David Fleming in the 1870 Census is listed just before Alexander Welch and his family. David's Mother (?) is listed as keeping house, while Mary Welsh is listed as a domestic servant to David. Elizabeth (age 44)is listed as the land owner ($1000) and Alexander (age 47)is listed as an (not readable) occupant (personal property of $200). Jane, William and Edward were listed with Alexander and Elizabeth.

In 1885 only Willaim was living with his parents. David is not listed on the same page. William was listed as a farmer and Alexander a laborer.

In 1925 it appears that Stephen had died prior, but the interesting thing is that walter, Orrin, Wiolet amd Mable still lived with Agnus. It also appears that Mable was married at one time and was widowed.

Hope this helps.

Best,

Clyde
