MIDDLE AMANA -- Evelyn Josephine Kiesling, 90, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, in Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation, Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, First United Methodist Church, Marengo, by the Rev. Morris Hurd. Burial: Middle Amana Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, Marengo.
Survivors include two sons, David of Buffalo Grove, Ill., and Tom and wife Toni of Mount Dora, N.M.; and a grandson, Clay Kiesling of Albuquerque, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otto, in 1984; a son, William Kiesling; a granddaughter, Jenny Kiesling; and a brother, Dean Gosselin.
Evelyn Josephine Gosselin was born May 13, 1914, in Derby, the daughter of Joseph and Nan Toll Gosselin. She was a homemaker and a part time custodian for the Amana Schools, retiring in 1976. Evelyn was a member of First United Methodist Church, Marengo, Marengo Legion Auxiliary and United Methodist Women.
