Dennis Davis, 52, of Maxwell, formerly of Williamsburg, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, from injuries suffered in an auto accident. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial: 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Ohio Cemetery near Ladora. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; two daughters, Melissa Sholtus of Ladora and Jennifer Davis of Maxwell; his parents, Marvin and Kathryn Davis of Ladora; and a sister, Debra McMann of Marengo.

Also surviving is his maternal grandmother, Rose Shull of Marengo.

Dennis was preceded in death by his grandfathers and grandmother.

Born Dec. 15, 1953, in Williamsburg, Iowa, the son of Marvin and Kathryn (Shull) Davis, Dennis served in the Army. He was united in marriage to Janet Beyer on May 26, 1982, in Williamsburg. Dennis was a driver for Carquest in Ankeny. He enjoyed motorcycles and cycling and was a member of the Suzuki Cavalcade Club.
