Matthew James Dillin was born on November 16, 1962, and died on November 18, 2024.

Thanks to his name, Matt's arrival was noted in a brief article in the North English paper with Dr. Larry Miller begrudgingly playing a prominent role in the article. My mother shared that she and Dad had considered naming him Marshall Matthew Dillin but decided that might be too much.

Matt is survived by his siblings Kathleen Dean of Waukee, IA; Mary (Stan) Hart of Lakewood Ranch, FL: Diane (John) Felton of Durham, NC; and Terry (Jennie) Dillin of Waverly, IA; 2 nieces and 6 nephews; 1 great niece and 5 great nephews; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Elaine and Francis (Skip) Dillin, his brother Dennis (Dee) Dillin, and his brother-in-law Tom Dean.
