Myron Wallace Kinzler was born June 18, 1934, at home in Keokuk County, Iowa, the son of Wallace and Coila Roine (Ridenour) Kinzler. He graduated from Millersburg High School in 1952, Myron served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1953 to 1955. Myron was united in marriage to Marlys Marie Cable on September 18, 1955 at the Fundamental Gospel Church in Williamsburg. Following their marriage the couple made their home in rural Williamsburg. He worked for Les Oliver from 1955 to 1979 when they moved to Paw Paw, Illinois in 1979 where he farmed until 1999, then they returned to rural Iowa County to retire. He was a past president of the Coop in Paw Paw, and a member of the Iburg Poulson VFW Post #8797 in Williamsburg. Myron passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Highland Ridge Care Center in Williamsburg at the age of 90 years.

He is survived by his two daughters, Lori ( Dr. Steve) Meress of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and Marcy (Robert) Noble of Colfax; a granddaughter, Kylie Good (Andrew Madsen); two great granddaughters, Natalie and Mickenna Good and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Kinzler of North English. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Cindy Green, a sister Jeanne Jones and a brother Ronald Kinzler.

Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 until service time at Powell Funeral Home in North English. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff at Highland Ridge and Essence of Life Hospice for their wonderful care.
