Anthony Brent Winegarden was born on May 4, 1959, in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Vernon Schilling & Susie Lucille (Hudson) Winegarden. He graduated from English Valleys High School and attended Kirkwood Community College and Brown Institute in Minnesota. He worked at Williamsburg Manufacturing for 10 years and drove semi for Winegarden Trucking. On April 17, 2001, Anthony was united in marriage to Nancy Marie Duhon in Sigourney. He enjoyed playing the guitar, jeopardy and going fishing. Anthony died on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Washington County Hospital, in Washington, at the age of 65 years.

He is survived by his wife Nancy of South English; four daughters: Kristie Stoffel of Wichita Falls, Texas, Brianna Raygor of Stuartville, Minnesota, Karissa Winegarden of Sigourney, Iowa and Lorianna Winegarden of Wilmington, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Hailey, Tajon, Amos, Theo and Maisy; three brothers: Richard (Pam) Winegarden of Seymour, Indiana, Lester (Jean) Winegarden of Holy Cross and Dean (Patty) Winegarden of Columbus Junction, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded by his parents and a brother Gary Jack Winegarden.
