Mervin E. Ringler, age 83 of Williamsburg, formerly of Marengo, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at the Marengo Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness. Graveside Services: 2:30 P.M. Saturday, August 27, 2005, Koszta Cemetery, rural Marengo with Rev. Morris Hurd officiating. Friends may call from 1:30 until service time, Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.

He is survived by his sister, Margaret Peshek of Norway, two nephews, Gary Peshek of California, and Richard Peshek of Mount Vernon, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mervin Edward Ringler was born June 7, 1922 in Marengo, Iowa the son of Edward and Antonia Dusil Ringler. He received his education in the Marengo schools. Mervin was employed as a technician at Pioneer Seed Company for 30 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed bowling. In earlier years he was a member of IOOF.
