Paul Louis Gorsch was born December 6, 1952, in North English, Iowa. The son of Edward and Marilyn (Wyant) Gorsch. He has lived in the Glenwood, Williamsburg, Marengo and Brooklyn communities. Paul enjoyed eating, drinking coffee, watching TV, telling stories and singing gospel hymns. Paul never knew a stranger, he loved visiting with whoever would listen. Paul died Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Brooklyn Community Estates in Brooklyn, Iowa at the age of 69.

He is survived by nine siblings, Mary Lou (Bill) McFadden, Jackie (Dave) Pieffer and Leanne Hendrix all of Cedar Rapids, Ron (Belinda) Gorsch of Deep River, Dwain Gorsch of North English, Dean Gorsch of Brooklyn, Dawn Moore of Sand Springs, OK, Lori (Duaine) Campbell of North English and Mick (Donna) Gorsch of Millersburg; a sister-in-law Anne Gorsch of Cedar Rapids and numerous nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Larry, Judy and Bobby.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00 am on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the Community Church near Deep River. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 until service time on Monday. Powell Funeral Home in North English is caring for Paul and his family.
