Ronald “Ron” Eugene Frost, 59 of Cedar Rapids died Friday October 21, 2022 at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha after a courageous battle with cancer. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton by Rev. Gary Mayer. Burial will be held at a later date. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the church after 10 a.m. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.

Ron is survived by two sons Jeff and Jason Frost; grandchildren Hailey, Jaikub, Heidi-Jo Frost and Kaden Hubbell; parents Gerald and Rosemary Frost; sister Wanda (Dave) Terry; five brothers Steven (Lisa), Don (Karen), Kenneth (Nina), Paul, and Robert (Michelle) and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was born on August 20, 1963 in Cedar Rapids the son of Gerald and Rosemary Sawyer Frost. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1981. Ron worked at Whirlpool in Amana for many years and was also in property management.

Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, being outdoors, going to the casino and spending time with his dog, Peanut. Above all, he loved time with his family and grandkids and will be deeply missed.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
